In our present world context the subject of Israel and its future is becoming increasingly important. This is especially so for Christians, for our prophetic future is inherently linked with that of Israel. Amazingly, despite the fact that the Bible is so replete with God's perspective on Israel, even Bible loving Christians and churches are almost silent on the subject. Although 2/3rds of the Bible is directly linked with the history of Israel, most preachers have little to say about this vital subject. They have even less to say on the matter of ISRAEL'S PROPHETIC FUTURE.
As we move into the prophetic time frame relative to the Return of Jesus, the church needs to be awakened, alerted, challenged and taught regarding the common destiny of the Church and Israel. Christian media (Radio and TV) is obviously the best opportunity that we have through which to accomplish this. The return of the Lord is vitally linked with the attitude of the Jewish nation. (Matthew 23:39)
Reverend Gerald Rowlands of Queensland Australia, has been a Minister of the Gospel for more than fifty years. During this time he has served at various times as a Pastor, Evangelist, Missionary, Bible College lecturer and College Principal. He has also written numerous books and is the author of the Church Planting Institute series of studies. He is the founder and president of Church Planting International a training course for prospective church planters which is being used effectively in some 23 nations around the world. Gerald was also for some ten years, the Director of Praise and Worship at the annual Christian Celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem.
Gerald has a regular weekly radio program entitled "Shalom al Israel" In the course of his ministry he and his wife Elizabeth have traveled to some seventy nations having lived in Africa, Asia and Israel. In 2006, he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) by the Australian government for services rendered in the emerging world.
